


Basic Splinting Course

A class designed to teach the most common splints ordered by today's medical providers.

Advancing each attendee's knowledge & skill level of proper splinting care for the orthopedic patient.

The course includes commonly ordered splints such as: volar, elbow, short leg, thumb spica, and gutter splints

A fun & educational, hands on, one day course, with student's full participation.Â
-All courses can be customized to meet a specific facility's patient audience.-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â -They can accomodate two to ten participants.-

Basic Casting Course

A class specifically for those individuals expected to place casts on orthopedic patients.
-
Students will learn & train on the basic fundamental casting skills that will be expected from them on a daily basis.

Examples include: a short arm cast, a long arm cast, &/or short leg cast, to name a few.
-
This class can be a one or two day course, depending on the facility needs as well as which casts are specifically requested, outside of the normal curriculum.
-All courses can be customized to meet a specific facility's patient audience.Â
-They can accommodate two to ten participants.

Advanced Orthopedic Skills

A class to advance the basic casting skills of the orthopedic technician or nurse to the next level. Â

This course is designed specifically for those individuals who have already been performing basic casting.
-
Advanced casting examples include: cylinder casts, ptb casts, gutter casts, total contact casts and others.
-
A perfect next-level, one or two day class for those persons that are employed with orthopedic providers or specialists.
